Application and System Integration:
Keying the same information in several systems is tedious, costly and subject to human error. The key to successfully keep all your systems updated at all times will be to have systems share information at intervals controlled by you. ADS will permit you to integrate your systems, and practically eliminate keying the same information in several systems. Think of the cost reduction your organization could realize.
Consider this example: A new employee is hired, his/her record is entered in your Human Resources system, then in your Payroll system, then in your Time Clock system, then in your Contact Management system, then in your e-mail system. We have now manually updated 5 systems with the same information. Let’s say it takes 5 minutes to key the new record in each system, it will take an extra 20 minutes for you to ensure all systems are up to date, for each new record.
Every time a change occurs for each record, the process begins again. What usually happens is that somewhere along the line, some systems will not be updated with new information, and eventually, you will have to review each of them, then analyze each record, in every system for the most up to date information, so your data matches. This process becomes time consuming and very expensive.
